Using Industry-Standard DTDs with FrameMaker

The term “industry-standard DTD” refers to a DTD designed
by participants from unrelated companies or other organizations, for
use with documents on similar topics. This seminar discusses
effective use of existing DTDs and the work needed to prepare for
using them. Topics include:
- Document analysis for an existing DTD
- Families of related DTDs such as authoring DTDs and interchange
DTDs
- Subsetting an industry-standard DTD
- Preserving an organization's terminology
- Using an industry-standard DTD as a source of ideas
